Fountaindale Public Library District is seeking residents interested in filling the remainder of a term on the Board of Trustees until the next election in April 2025. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Bob Kalnicky. "We would like to thank Bob for his 14 years of service on the library board," said Fountaindale Library Board Vice President Celeste Bermejo. "Bob served in leadership roles as our Board Vice President and President, and we wish him well as he moves away from Bolingbrook."

Anyone who would like to be considered for the vacant library board member seat must complete an application, prepare a résumé and include a brief statement on why they feel they should be considered for the vacancy. Applicants can either email their materials to [email protected] or drop it off at the library to Paul Mills' attention by noon on Monday, September 18, 2023. All three items must be submitted by the deadline in order to be considered.

Interviews will be on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in the evening. To view the application, please visit fountaindale.org/become-a-fountaindale-public-librarytrustee-2.
