Tinley Park, IL – Thanks to a donation of winter coats, subzero temperatures will be a lot easier to tolerate this year for a number of developmentally disabled individuals at St. Coletta's of Illinois.

On Nov. 16, Knights of Columbus St. Mary of Mokena Council 6993 delivered 36 new coats to the non-profit social service agency, which provides educational, residential and vocational training services to children and adults from the south and southwest suburbs.

The coats were distributed to students from St. Coletta's Kennedy School as well as adults from St. Coletta's Community Day Services program.

The coat donation has become an annual tradition for the Knights who are committed to supporting organizations like St. Coletta's.

For 75 years, St. Coletta's of Illinois has been serving children and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them learn, grow and live as independently as possible.
