FOUNTAINDALE PUBLIC LIBRARY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS TO FILL BOARD OF TRUESTEES VACANCY

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. – Fountaindale Public Library District is seeking residents interested in filling the remainder of a term on the Board of Trustees until the next election in April 2023. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Ruth Newell.

"We would like to thank Ruth for her 35 years of service on the library Board of Trustees," said Fountaindale Library Board President Robert Kalnicky. "Ruth is the longest-serving Board member in our District's history, and we wish her well as she moves out of state."

Anyone who would like to be considered for the vacant library board member seat must complete an application, prepare a resume and include a brief statement on why they feel they should be considered for the vacancy. Applicants can either email their materials to [email protected] or drop it off at the library to Paul Mills' attention by noon on Friday, August 5, 2022. All three items must be submitted by the deadline in order to be considered. Interviews will be on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in the evening.
