Late last week Crest Hill Police obtained an arrest warrant for 22-year old Dohndray D. Woods, of Joliet, IL. This warrant is in connection with the shooting on October 15, 2020 that occurred in the 1800 block of Arbor Lane.

Woods was located and arrested and booked on charges of attempted first degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, armed habitual criminal, aggravated discharge of a firearm, and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. His bond was set at $2,000.000.

"Mr. Woods arrest is the result of very thorough police work," said Crest Hill Police Chief Ed Clark. "Our investigators have worked tirelessly to bring this suspect into custody." Crest Hill Police continue to work on this open investigation."
