Private Swim Lessons at Challenge Fitness

Enroll today for one-on-one private swim lessons at Challenge Fitness! All ages and abilities accepted. These 5 lessons are 30 minutes long and can be scheduled any day of the year when the pool is open for lap swimming. Add up to 4 children for a private group. Fees are: 1st person - $95 Resident, $110 Non-Resident. Each additional student: $35 Resident, $45 Non-Resident. For more information, visit http://www.lockportpark.org or call (815) 838-1183.

Hollywood at Hassert Park Drive-in Movie - Grease – Crest Hill, IL

“GREASE is the Word!” On September 11th, at 8:15pm join the Pink Ladies and T-Birds for a Summer Night at the Hassert Park Drive-In. Registration fee is $5 per car for residents and $15 for non-residents. Register by calling 815-838-1183. There will be a maximum number of cars allotted for the movie night so register early! All cars must be pre-registered to enter. If you are not pre-registered, you will not be permitted in the event area. All cars will be staggered to follow social distancing guidelines, safety and best view. When registering please notify the registrar if you will be driving a Car, SUV or Truck to the event. Food will be available to order from PB Mulligan’s and there will also be a concession stand as well. Pre -registration taken until September 10th. An email will be sent out with guidelines and details on Thursday, August 27th after 5pm for the event. 19623 Renwick Rd., Crest Hill.

The Learning Step Preschool – Lockport, IL

Our primary goal is to provide your child with a stimulating environment in which they can grow. This program will give your child a variety of experiences, which will promote social, emotional, intellectual and motor skills. We strive to give each child a positive feeling of self-worth. Learning Step Preschool Virtual Learning

Lets “Get Set” for some Virtual Learning! Children will explore readiness & writing, language arts and math activities in this virtual learning class. Utilizing the Get Set for School Curriculum, activities will be presented via recorded lessons and Zoom calls each week. The lessons will be multi-sensory and will include music, stories and hands-on activities. The 3 year old class (two days a week) and 4 year old class (three days a week) of learning that will consist of 3-8 minute videos that your child can watch and rewatch at your convenience, plus one time per week, your child’s class will participate in an interactive Zoom call with their class and teacher. Each student will receive materials, such as, a Get Set for School Manipulatives Pack, workbook, and other materials that will need to be picked up each month from the Dellwood Park Community Center. (35 weeks of classes 9/8/20 – 5/28/20)

I Tri’d Challenge Fitness Triathlon – Lockport, IL

“Tri” your hardest on October 11th in the I Tri’d 2020 Challenge Fitness Triathlon! Sign up today by calling Challenge Fitness at 815-838-1183. Register by 9/30. 5 people per heat!! Entrance thru the pool doors, swim 500 yards, exit to the parking lot to complete the spin portion where bikes will be spaced 8 feet apart and sanitized between heats, complete the final leg of the race in beautiful Dellwood Park. Space is limited! Open division $45 resident, $50 non-resident – Swim 500yd, spin bike 12 miles, run 5k. 10 and under $35 resident, $40 non-resident – swim 250 yds, spin bike 6 miles, run 1.5 miles.
