Edward Foundation's virtual BIG GIVE set for Oct. 22

The Edward Foundation’s annual gala will be a virtual event in 2020. The BIG GIVE will be available on phones, tablets and laptop/desktop computers on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 6:45 – 8:00 p.m. The event is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year and provides financial backing for Edward Hospital programs and services that directly impact patients.

This year, funds raised will go to the Edward Foundation’s COVID-19 Relief Fund, which supports the financial needs associated with Edward Hospital's response to the pandemic, such as the purchase of personal protective equipment and temporary COVID-19 screening stations to keep patients, physicians and staff safe.

The BIG GIVE, with host Alan Krashesky of ABC 7 Chicago, will feature Edward leaders, physicians and nurses sharing stories of their efforts and experiences during the hospital’s COVID-19 response. The event is free to join and will be available to view and take part via http://www.eehealth.org/EdwardBigGive, YouTube Live and Edward Hospital’s Facebook Live page.

One of the features of the BIG GIVE is the opportunity to record a 15-30 second video message of support for Edward Hospital and its nurses, doctors and staff caring for patients with COVID-19. Visit http://www.studiothread.com/edward/community for details and to submit a video, which could be featured during the BIG GIVE.
