Edward Foundation Charity Golf Tournament raises $403,000

The Edward Foundation raised $403,000 at its 27th annual Charity Golf Tournament on Aug. 31 at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont. More than 300 golfers donated funds through sponsorships, donations, raffles and games. Dionne Miller, weekend sports anchor and reporter, ABC7 Eyewitness News, was the event’s celebrity guest.

The Foundation, the charitable fundraising organization of Edward Hospital, was established in 1990 and has raised more than $52.5 million in its mission to support Edward Hospital’s community healthcare initiatives.

The winning team on Cog Hill’s Dubsdread course included Andrew Baasen, Justin Kochen, Teresa McDaniel and Charles Glaser. The winning team on Cog Hill’s Course #1 included Steve Campanella, Kevin Kethcart, Mike Minetti and Steve Moudry.

The Foundation’s next major event and fundraiser, the BIG GIVE, a special virtual event, will be streamed live at EEHealth.org/EdwardBigGig on Thursday, Oct. 22, 6:45 – 8:00 p.m. All funds raised will go to Edward Foundation’s COVID-19 Relief Fund.
