Prevention and early detection saves lives for older adults

Health screenings are regularly scheduled at Senior Services of Will County. With professional assistance, health screenings are offered to identify and monitor chronic conditions such as hypertension, high cholesterol and diabetes.

Health screenings targeting older adults, such as bone density, balance, fall risk, eyesight, dental, hearing are also provided. While aging is inevitable, managing chronic conditions, eating healthy and staying physically active can prolong quality of life.

On Friday, March 27, 2020 at Louis Joliet Mall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., older adults 55 and more are invited to have free health screenings performed, physical exercises, therapeutic massages and much more to keep them safe and healthy.
