The top-ranked Redwings (19-2) fought off a serious challenge from the Thunderbirds (10-7) at Willowbrook High School in Villa Park.

Downers Grove North 35 (18-5) Argo 32 (18-6)

The Girls of Troy's "D" slowed down the high-flying Argonauts of Argo (18-7) at the Kipp Classic in Villa Park. The Trojans improve to 19-5 with the win.

Maine South 73 Rockford Boylan 55

Win No. 19 and the Hawks eighth in a row brought Maine South (19-5) the 2020 DeKalb MLK Tournament championship trophy back to Park Ridge. Rockford Boylan (15-7), trailed only 15-14 after one quarter. The Hawks extended their lead to 36-28 at halftime. The lead grew to 55-44 after three quarters before the Hawks put away the Titans in the fourth quarter.

Maine South 65 Lincoln Way East 48

In the tournament semifinals, the Hawks (19-5) blew out the Griffins (13-7) for the second time this season. The Hawks and Griffins opened up their seasons back in November.

The Angels improved to 13-10 with a win over the host Fighting Irish (2-17).

Joliet Central 60 TF South 35

In the Old Barn in Joliet, the Steelwomen (20-4) won for the 20th time this season with the blowout win over the Rebels. Jalysa Stokes, who led the Steelwomen with 18 points, buried a huge three-pointer to put Central up 29-20 in the second quarter ending a 13-4 Rebel run. Ashanti Brown added 10 points for the Steelwomen.

Joliet West 59 Metea Valley 14

The Tigers (19-3) made it 16 consecutive victories with the blowout of the Mustangs (7-9). Jazz Evans led the Tigers with 16 points. Fantastic frosh Lisa Thompson added 12 points and sophomore Grace Walsh chipped in with 12 points for the SPC East co-leaders.
