In their East Suburban Catholic Conference/Chicago Catholic League Shootout game at St. Patrick, Notre Dame (10-2) rolled out to a 20-7 first quarter lead over Leo (4-6). ND extended its lead to 39-22 at the half and rolled to the 63-49 victory over the Lions.
Heading to Mount Greenwood to take on the hosts from Brother Rice in Benet Academy's ESCC/CCL Shootout game with the mighty host Crusaders, few thought the Redwings had a chance.
Never underestimate a Gene Heidkamp-coached Benet Academy squad. The Redwings throttled the CCL-Blue co-leaders, 57-41, to improve to 6-2 heading into the holidays. Brother Rice falls to 8-3.

The Hawks improved to 4-4 on the season with the Crete-Monee Shootout win over Rich Central (0-7). Marko
Anderson led the Hawks with 23 points and hauled down nine rebounds. Sean Gallery added nine points with four assists, while Nick Ostojic scored six points, hauled down eight rebounds and had four steals.

In a classic rivalry game the Porters (6-4) defeated the Hilltoppers (3-5).
