After opening the 2019-20 campaign with five consecutive road games, Maine South returned to Park Ridge on Friday night. Behind 6-foot-7 Nick Ostojic (12 points, eight rebounds) and 6-foot-5,Marko Anderson (10 points, six rebounds), the Hawks hammered Glenbrook North 50-33.
With the win, the Hawks improve to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the Central Suburban South.
Casey Clark and Sean Gallery, each hit double figures with 10 points for the Hawks.
Senior Danny Locascio contributed five assists to the Hawk win.

The Tigers (5-2, 3-1) pulled into a first-place tie with Oswego East (5-3, 3-1) and Oswego (8-1, 3-1) in the SPC West, with the win in Oswego on Friday. Three Tigers hit double-figures, led by Colin O'Rourke's 21 points. Cooper Bridges and Kyle Bragg each had 15 points for the victorious Tigers.
The Tigers trailed the Wolves 33-32 at half, before taking the lead at 50-47 after three quarters.

The Wolves (3-6, 1-1) were hammered by the undefeated CSL South co-leaders from Glenbrook South (7-0, 2-0).

The Spartans (5-3, 3-1) kept pace with Joliet West by defeating Plainfield East (2-6, 0-4) in Romeoville.
Plainfield Central 47 Joliet Central 42
The Wildcats (7-1, 3-1) bounced back from their loss to Romeoville on Tuesday and defeated the Steelmen (3-5, 1-3) in "The Old Barn" in Joliet on Friday.
