Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin to hold property tax appeal workshops for Niles Township

The Cook County Board of Review will accept appeals from Niles Township property owners for 2019 assessments from Monday, December 9 - Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Sponsors include Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin, Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Michael Cabonargi, state Senators Laura Fine and Ram Villivalam, state Representatives John D'Amico, Jen Gong-Gershowitz and Yehiel Kalish, Mayors Barry Bass, Dan DiMaria, Andrew Przybylo and George Van Dusen and Niles Township Assessor Scott Bagnall.

“The best way to keep your property taxes low is to appeal your assessment annually to both the Assessor and the Board of Review,” said Com. Suffredin. “I encourage you to reach out to my office so we can assist with your appeal.”

The deadline to appeal to the Board of Review is Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

Homeowners can also visit Niles Assessor Scott Bagnall at the Niles Township building, located at 5255 Lincoln Ave. in Skokie. Residents can reach the Niles Assessor at 847-673-9300.
