Post 134 to celebrate 13th annual Adopt a Sailor Navy Day

The Legion will host 50 recruits from Great Lakes Naval Base. The sailors will arrive by bus around 8:30 a.m. and will be greeted by Legion members, village officials, friends, and whomever else wishes to greet them and thank them for their service.

There will be refreshments donated by legion members, friends and local merchants. The sailors will be served a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. Entertainment will be available along with nationwide long distance and international phone service all day long compliments of AT&T. Computers will also be available.
