SOUTHWEST PRAIRIE WEST

Minooka 28 Oswego 21

The Indians (9-0, 5-0) rallied past Oswego (8-1,4-1), to win the SPC West.

The 2019 Indians are the first team in Minooka football history to finish a perfect

9-0 for the regular season.

Yorkville 31 Plainfield North 7

The 6-3 playoff-bound Tigers were buried by the Foxes (7-2, 3-2) on Friday

CSL SOUTH

Maine South 44 New Trier 7

The Hawks (7-2, 5-0) won for the seventh consecutive game and routed the Trevians (4-5, 1-4).

It was the Hawks' 17th CSL South championship in 18 years.

CCL/ESCC WHITE CHAMPIONSHIP

Joliet Catholic Academy 49 Marmion 7

The Hilltoppers (6-3, 3-0) rolled past Marmion (6-3, 2-1) to win the inaugaral CCL/ESCC White championship.


The win was the fourth consecutive for the Class 5A defending state champions. The Hilltoppers have outscored their last four opponents 185-35. The road to DeKalb begins for the defending champs next weekend.

CCL/ESCC Green Championship

St. Rita 7 Notre Dame 0

Without leading rusher Julian Schurr, the Dons (7-2, 2-1) were blanked on Chicago's South Side by St. Rita (6-3, 2-1). Even with the loss the IHSA awards Notre Dame (7-2, 2-1) the title having allowed just 14 points to Montini (7-2, 2-1) and St. Rita, giving the Dons the tie-breaker to finish tied atop the CCL/ESCC final standings with the Broncos and the Mustangs.

SPC EAST

Joliet West 36 Plainfield Central 7

The 4-5 Tigers rolled into the IHSA State Football playoffs with the huge win over the Wildcats. Joliet West, Plainfield East and Plainfield South all shared the SPC East title with 4-1 records. The Tigers were awarded the SPC East championship for having allowed the fewest points in the two games between the tri-champions. Plainfield East (5-4, 4-1) and Plainfield South (5-4, 4-1) also advance to the IHSA playoffs next week.

Plainfield East 41 Joliet Central 0

The Bengals (5-4, 4-1) are play-off bound after blanking the Steelmen on Friday.

Plainfield South 40 Romeoville 21

The Cougars (5-4, 4-1) join District 202 rivals Plainfield East and Plainfield North in the IHSA playoffs next weekend.

DISTRICT #99 CROSSTOWN CLASSIC

Downers Grove North 14 Downers Grove South 7

The Trojans (5-4) win the District #99 Crosstown Classic and wrap up a playoff berth in next weekend's IHSA playoffs.

The host Mustangs finish 5-4 and will also have a first-round playoff game.

SWSC CROSSOVERS

Andrew 24 Bolingbrook 17 (OT)

The SWSC Red champions from Andrew (7-2) stunned the playoff-bound Raiders in overtime in Bolingbrook Friday.

Lockport 42 Stagg 12

The Porters (4-5) routed the Chargers on Friday to close out the 2019 season with two consecutive wins.

ILLINOIS CENTRAL 8

Lisle 54 Streator 8

The Lions (5-4, 3-4) routed the Bulldogs and clinched a playoff berth.

Benet Academy is in the playoffs and will face Nazareth on Saturday
