Thirty-three District 202 high school student musicians will take part virtually in the Illinois Music Educators Association (ILMEA) district event this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The annual ILMEA district in-person festivals will be replaced with two, half-day digital master class events on November 14 and 21, 2020.

Students were selected based on submitted video auditions.

The ILMEA Conference is scheduled for January 27 to January 30 in Peoria but is pending due to the pandemic.
