A statement from the DuPage County Health Department with the latest COVID-19 information is below. We will contact you when more information becomes available.

"As of Wednesday, March 18, 2020, all residents and staff at the long-term care facility in Willowbrook have been tested for COVID-19. We can confirm a total of 46 people, 33 residents and 13 staff, have tested positive for COVID-19.

The staff of the DuPage County Health Department continues to work closely with our partners from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the staff of the facility.

We will not be providing any information on the patients and staff to respect their privacy.

We join Governor Pritzker and health officials around the state in reminding you, our most vulnerable population is our family and friends who reside in nursing homes. By practicing social distancing, we can protect all of them.

Please remember,

• If you are sick, stay home.

• Please abide by the social distancing as previously discussed.

• Wash your hands.

• Regularly disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.

• Avoid contact with sick people.

• If you feel sick, call your local family physician first.

If you think you have COVID-19 symptoms, including a fever (100.4 degrees or higher), cough and difficulty breathing, call your healthcare provider.
