Trojans win, half game behind Dukes in WSC Silver; LT stuns York
Hawks roll past New Trier in Winnetka for 11 in a row

Downers Grove North (22-5, 8-2) easily won its West Suburban Silver game at Proviso West (5-14, 2-8) in Hillside 54-29. Then the girls of Troy received great news from Elmhurs, where Lyons Township (14-8, 7-3) stunned the WSC Silver leaders from York, 61-51.
With York's (21-6, 9-2) home loss to the Lions, the Trojans are now just a half game behind the Dukes in the WSC Silver conference race.
On February 4 York invades the Purple Gym in Downers Grove for a battle for WSC Silver supremacy.

MAINE SOUTH 53 NEW TRIER 37
On Friday night Jeff Hamann and Maine South (22-5, 7-2) traveled to Winnetka to take on New Trier (14-11, 6-3). Back on December 10 in Park Ridge, New Trier escaped with a 59-58 victory. With revenge on their minds, the Hawks flew past the Trevians for their 11th consecutive victory.
On December 30, 2019 in the 2019 Charger Holiday Tournament championship game at Dundee-Crown, the Hawks fell 45-36 to the defending Class 4A state champions from Maine West (22-3).
The Hawks are an undefeated 11-0 in 2020.
February 7 in Park Ridge the Hawks will close out their CSL South schedule hosting the 2020 CSL South champions from Evanston (20-2, 9-0). On December 20 at Evanston's historic Beardsley Gymnasium, the host Wildkits escaped with a 54-52 win, over the Hawks.
