Congratulations to the 46 District 58 teachers and staff who received an Education Foundation Green Apple Award in November and December 2019! During the holiday season, the Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58 invited the community to recognize a special District 58 teacher or staff member by making a donation to the Foundation's Green Apple Teacher/Staff Recognition Program. Each recognized teacher/staff member received a Green Apple card, hand delivered by Superintendent Dr. Kevin Russell and/or the building principal. Each card also contained a personalized message from the sender.

The holiday 2019 Green Apple campaign raised $995. This funding will be used to support and celebrate student learning through the Foundation's many programs, such as the Teacher Grants Program. Learn more at http://www.58foundation.org.
