Hufford student musicians tour Joliet

The Hufford Junior High Honors Orchestra (H20) recently toured the city of Joliet playing

holiday music. Visits included 1340 WJOL, where the students played a few songs live on the

Slocum in the Morning Show, Joliet Police Station, Joliet Fire Department, Louis Joliet Mall,

J.F. Kennedy Administrative Center, and Hufford Junior High School. The group, made up of

sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students, is directed by teacher Clifford Hunt.

Musicians included Alayna Ardaugh, Matteo Audelo, Chloe Black, Brianna Campos, Ryland

Denson, Carlyn Fowler, Julissa Fuentes, Leslee Gutierrez, Madeline Hobbs, Camila Leal,

Lleyton Luangsomkham, Liliana Mejia, Fernanda Miranda, Carlos Rodriguez, Jordan Shell,

Kayla Swolley, Emma Vinson, and Liliana Zamudio. Joliet Public Schools District 86

Superintendent Dr. Theresa Rouse also joined the students at a couple of the stops playing her

violin.
