Representatives from J.B. Hunt Transport presented Isaac Singleton Elementary School

Kindergarten teacher Marissa Goodlet with $500 worth of classroom materials. The donations

included books, headphones, a toy cash register, stools, a shopping cart, dry erasers, and items for a

treasure box.

Her classroom was one of only 12 winners in the country, and one of only two in Illinois, to be

"adopted" by J.B. Hunt Transport. In addition to the supplies, the Kindergarten students were treated

to a pizza lunch and a tour of the semi-truck.

Marissa Goodlet's class was nominated for this award by J.B. Hunt Transport Regional Truck

Driver Stephanie Kirkland. Mrs. Kirkland's sons attend Singleton Elementary School. The J.B. Hunt

Adopt-A-Class is a nationwide program that gives back to their drivers and communities by

providing school supplies to classrooms.
