Information on recent arrests is provided by the Joliet Police Department. Persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Keevin Lipscomb, 36, of the 1500 block of Jones, was arrested Sept. 30 at Black and Westridge roads on a charge of driving under the influence of Drugs and alcohol.

Tim Griffin, 48, of the 200 block of North Waller Avenue, and Victoria L. Garcia, 32, of the 800 block of Vine Street, were arrested Sept. 30 in the 1800 block of Ingalls Avenue on charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Keante C. Luckey, 18, of the first block of West Crowley Avenue, was arrested Oct. 1 on charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm, reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

Vaughn S. McNair, 25, of the 2100 block of Luther Avenue in Lockport, was arrested Oct. 1 in the 300 block of North Broadway on a charge of obstructing justice.

Nigel Mukemi, 26, of the 2300 block of Essington Road, was arrested Oct. 1 in the 7500 block of Southworth Circle on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Johnny K. Gooch, 43, of the 1000 block of Draper Avenue, was arrested Oct. 1 at Ottawa and Van Buren streets on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Shaun Matheny, 37, of the 500 block of North Scott Street, was arrested Oct. 2 in the 2400 block of West Jefferson Street on a charge of retail theft.

James Harris, 45, of Saginaw, Mich., was arrested Oct. 2 in the 1700 block of McDonough Street on a charge of domestic battery.

Jonathan J. Judy, 31, of the 1400 block of Strawberry Hill Drive in Lockport, was arrested Oct. 3 in the 1800 block of Ingalls Avenue on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Esam J. Dajani, 34, of the 1900 block of Howard in Des Plaines, was arrested Oct. 2 on a charge of aggravated identity theft of a senior citizen.

Alan Sanchez, 21, of the 1200 block of Hunter Drive, was arrested Sept. 26 in the 1200 block of Ranchwood Drive on a charge of domestic battery.
