Graduates of the 129th Regiment (Regional Training Institute) Officer Candidate School, Camp Lincoln, Springfield, Illinois, recite the oath of office as newly commissioned second lieutenants, at the commission ceremony Aug. 21 at the Crowne Plaza hotel, Springfield, Illinois. Twenty-two Soldiers in the Illinois Army National Guard and one Soldier in the U.S. Army Reserves fulfilled the leadership and military education requirements to be commissioned as U.S. Army officers.
