Based on flooding conditions following the severe storm, the following roads in the Village of Plainfield are temporarily closed:

• Indian Boundary between County Line and Renwick roads

• County Line between Indian Boundary and Wheeler Road

• Wheeler Road between Renwick Road and Lockport Street

• Lily Cache between Rolf and Caton Farm roads

• Van Dyke Road north of 143rd Street at the railroad tracks

• 135th Street between Route 59 and Naperville/Plainfield Road

• 135th Street between Route 59 and Golden Meadown Road

• 135th Street between Meadow Lane and Heggs Road

• Heggs Road between Woods Way and Pastoral Drive

• Ridge Road between 127th Street and 135th Street

• Route 30 between 119th and 111th streets

• 127th Street between Route 59 and Van Dyke Road

• Van Dyke Road between 127th and 119th streets

• Naperville/Plainfield Road between 135th and Marina Drive

 

Roads will be opened as soon as the water recedes to a level that allows safe passage.
